What is the lesson plan model used in education?
Recently I took a course called "technical education. The model lesson plan was highlighted during the model Madalyn Hunter. However, I had teachers from other tell me that the method of Hunter is obsolete and serves no purpose to learn something that you do not intend to use as a teacher. What model is currently used to write lesson plans? I have a course coming this summer that I have to write lesson plans for a ten specific topic. I hope to be a high school Social Studies / History teacher.
The trend right now is something called "Understanding By Design" which is going well with standards-based education. This involves lasting agreements, and key issues jobs creation. Considerable emphasis is mandatory for all students, where authentic intellectual work is created by all students.
